1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. "Local storage" is a similar browser feature, and mobile apps use on-device storage in the same way. In this policy we call all of these "cookies".

2. What this website uses
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
hk_cookie_consent | Strictly necessary (local storage) | Remembers whether you chose Accept or Reject in the cookie banner, so we don't ask again on every page | Until you clear it, or until this policy's version changes |
WordPress cookies on the blog (for example wordpress_test_cookie, comment_author_*) | Strictly necessary / functional | Set only on blog pages, for example to remember your name and email if you leave a comment | Session, up to 1 year |
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website, and the banner loads no third-party scripts. Pages load the Plus Jakarta Sans font from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch it. That sets no cookies, but Google receives your IP address.
Our hosting provider (Hostinger) may use strictly necessary technical cookies or server logs for security and to keep the site available.
3. Accept, Reject and Cookie settings
- On your first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Reject optional cookies. Both buttons are equally easy to use, and rejecting doesn't limit anything on the website.
- Today the website has no optional cookies, so both choices keep only the strictly necessary storage above. If we ever add optional cookies (for example analytics), they will stay off unless you have chosen Accept, and we will ask again when this policy changes.
- You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may make the banner reappear on every visit.
4. Our apps
Each app has its own Cookie Policy, linked from its footer or settings, listing exactly what it stores. Typically that's a sign-in token, your preferences and your cookie choice. If an app uses analytics cookies, it asks for your consent first and lets you reject them as easily as you can accept them.
5. Third-party cookies
Some app features are provided by other companies, such as payment checkout (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal) and "Sign in with Google". They may set their own cookies under their own policies. Our Privacy Policy lists them.
6. Changes
If we add a new type of non-essential cookie, we will update this policy and ask for your choice again before setting it.
